Microbiology

The Microbiology team carries out bacteriology, parasitology and mycology on routine diagnostic specimens. Microbiological testing services are available as part of our animal health monitoring program. The results of microbiology testing can provide early warning signs to the presence of bacterial contaminants and can also independently validate the effectiveness of routine disinfecting procedures.

Our microbiological testing services are designed to evaluate the health status of sentinel laboratory animals, as well as diagnostic assessment of animals submitted to infection disease research.
